Hello all!
Just wanted to remind everyone about this next Saturday's ride to the Indiana Motorcycle Safety Memorialon June 28th. This area means alot to the Southside Group as it was built and now Maintained by a group from the Chapter. Linda and John, along with others, go down once or twice a year to do cleanup on the area. This ride is to show people whatt the area is and why it is important to maintain the way it is! Dont think that you are being taken down to work this trip. The area has a sculpture made out of motorcycle parts, a uniquely designed walking area to represent the spokes of a motorcycle wheel, and this walkway is made with bikes that are inscripted with fellow riders names that have passed before us. As a newer rider with the Southside Chapter and newer to the Indy area, I had no clue this area even existed. After visiting the website, hearing about it from others, listening to how it was put together, I'm really excited to see it and enjoy the area. Possible rain date to be June 29th if needed. If rain date is needed, we will be planning a new lunch spot as they are not open on Sundays.
We will be meeting sat the BP Gas station at SR 144 and 69 at 10:30, KSU at 11am
